The Wivenhoe Surgery has not yet been advised about how people over 80 and living in Wivenhoe are going to be offered a vaccination against the Covid-19 virus. There are a number of practical issues to be resolved like how to keep the vaccine at below -70 degrees C.
Please do not ring the Medical Centre to ask when you can be vaccinated as they do not know. All that they know is that people will be contacted directly by the local hospital and invited to go for the vaccination, and then for a booster second vaccination 21 days or so later.
As the Wivenhoe Medical Centre gets information about how local people will get the vaccine, I will update this thread.
