business networking
  • The business networking group I participate in is having a Visitors Day on Tuesday 1st Feb. It's a Colchester group, but there's a couple of members (myself included) based in Wivenhoe, and it's a great way to expand your client base.

It's open to anyone from work-at-home sole traders to corporations - so long as someone who does the same thing as you isn't already a member.

I don't want to do a hard-sell - you'll know if face-to-face networking is right for you - so if you're interested, get in touch (photo@adrianmulton.co.uk) and I'll provide more details (including 'open' categories) + a formal invite if you'd like to attend.

  • Shameless BUMP!

Last call for a bit of networking and a chance to promote your business next Tuesday morning.
The caterers need to confirm how many people would like one of their quite splendid breakfasts :)

  • Anyone interested in promoting their business to a diverse section of the Colchester area business community, BNI Colchester Castle are holding another Visitor Day next Tuesday (Jan 31st) morning at 6.30-8.30am. Anyone from sole traders to representatives of large companies are welcome.

Some of the businesses we'd particularly like to attend include: florist, mechanic, cleaning company, illustrator, pest controller, business/personal coach, estate agent, and film maker.

If you're interested post here, or give me a shout directly & I can tell you more.

    Cheers,

    Adrian
  • Adrian, any idea when is next? I might be interested in attending it.

    Thanks,

  • Adrian isn't much of a regular on this here fine message board so in case he doesn't see your comment mnb007 I'll jump in on his behalf.

The BNI Colchester Castle group meets every Tuesday morning at 6.30am at Colchester Golf Club. Visitors days, such as the one Adrian posted about, are held from time to time but you are welcome to attend any Tuesday to see if BNI is for you (and your business!!). I'm sure he would be pleased to take you along as his guest one morning so PM him if you are interested and I'm sure he'll get an email alert about your message, or post on here and I'll give him a nudge for you.

Meantime you can find out more here www.bnicolchester.co.uk
  • Thanks Simon Simon, I got an email alert, so messaged mnb007.

    And I am semi-regular. ;-p

    Adrian

  • You don't usually admit to it...

    Cripes
  • Thank you Simon, sorry we were chatting "privately", (offline). Adrian has introduced me to the rules, time and place, and I will probably attend it in two weeks time. It sounds good to me. Thanks guys, and hopefully meet you in two weeks.

    Alfonso

  • You're welcome Alfonso. I hope you enjoy the meeting and BNI proves to be a useful element in your business development plans.
  • BUMP!

We have our next Visitor Day on Tuesday 29th May at 06.30.

If you think your business could benefit from B2B networking, give me a shout and I can tell you more.
Several Wivenhoe and Alresford businesses are already members, and the breakfasts are great too! :)
