Enter something in the Wivenhoe Show - Sat 2nd Sept

Calling all Wivenhoe residents. Do you make anything or grow fruit, vegetables, flowers in your garden, greenhouse, allotment or window sill, make jam, bake cakes or knit, sew and make things out of wood?
The Wivenhoe Allotment & Gardens Association (WAGA) invites everyone to enter the Wivenhoe Show which take places on Saturday 2nd September. No need to be a member.  Viewing of exhibits by the public is from 1.30pm to 4pm with the presentation of trophies at 3.45pm.
The Wivenhoe Show is about the best of what has been grown or made in Wivenhoe in the last year. There are over 100 classes to be entered, including classes for young people too.  So there should be something you can find to enter.
Show details, a Schedule of Classes and entry form are all available on our web site:  https://wivenhoeallotment.wordpress.com/ ; or just Google for Wivenhoe Allotments to find it, or from 27 Belle Vue Road. You must enter by Wed 30th August.
We hope you will want to take part by entering an exhibit into the Show (remember, the Show is open to everyone) but if not, make sure you come to the Show and enjoy the best Wivenhoe has to offer plus the WAGA Cafe and the WAGA Market stall which will be outside the front of the Wm Loveless Hall where you will be able to buy freshly-grown produce from the allotments and gardens of WAGA members.  We have invited the WI and Quay Quilters to provide a display too. So lots to see.
Here is how the inside of the Hall looked in a previous year to hopefully encourage you.
