Three hours of biodiversity in Cockayne's Wood

A great time was had by all on the Wivenhoe Watching Wildlife walk around (a small part) of Cockayne's Wood yesterday.

Selection of pictures below from me, Glyn & Debs - no names, just lose yourself in the delights of nature on your doorstep. 16 species of butterfly, input to the national Big Butterfly Count. Plus 5 dragon/damselflies, plus beetles, bugs, flies, flowers of all sorts, including what I think is one of a very few UK records of a North American willowherb Epilobium brachycarpum.
