Blessington Millennium Choir performing Ireland, Moot Hall, Colchester
"The Blessington Millennium Choir was founded to celebrate the Christian Millennium Year 2000 in Blessington, a rural town in County Wicklow, in the heart of The Garden of Ireland. Celebrate St Patrick's Day with the perfect accompaniment.
The Children of Lir, an Irish fairytale Cantata, by world renowned composer, Patrick Cassidy, who will be present at the concert. Patrick is a film score composer living in Los Angeles. Scored music for, among many others, the film Hannibal with Vide Cor Meum as central tune. Charles Pearson, internationally acclaimed organist, will accompany the piece on the recently restored pipe organ of the Moot Hall."
