Do they eat other types of wild bird food? Have they recently stopped eating sunflower hearts or have they never eaten them?
Could be a few reasons -
1) A new predator in the area
2) they are eating the widely available natural food sources instead ie berries, worms, insects etc
3) Is the food still fresh?
4) Are the feeders clean?
5) Has a neighbour recently started feeding the birds?
