Wanted: two kayak canoes
  • I'm after a couple of kayak canoes. Nothing too flash, just something that will get us around out towards the Creek and back. I know very little about pricing and quality, but something around £100 (?) each for a second hand model would seem about right?

    Thanks.
  • Try the sailing club, I think they have a couple that may be auctioned off...
  • I believe Jason is now sorted out on the kayak front, but I'm after one myself. Who is the contact at the sailing club?
  • Yep, all sorted, via trip to the very lovely Nucleus over in Clacton. We were offered a discount for buying a couple, as well as free delivery to Wivenhoe.Trying to buy a second hand kayak with delivery proved tricky.

There's a dinghy regatta at the Sailing Club this Saturday. This could be a good chance to go along and have a chat...
