Mini Wildflower Meadow

edited April 2013 in Wivenhoe Wildlife

Yesterday some youngsters from the Montessori helped sow the seeds for the mini wildflower meadow in the new wildlife garden by the park in beautiful sunshine.  They had a lot of fun scattering seeds and stomping the ground to bed them in.  Hopefully it will not be long before the garden is full of flowers for everyone to enjoy.  There were already bees coming out of hibernation and getting their first meals from the spring flowers already out in the garden.

Hope everyone else is enjoying the brighter weather.  Long may it continue!
