Planting in Wivenhoe Wildlife Garden
We managed to plant a lot of new plants in the garden this week including three crab apple trees which Charlie and Albert help get in the ground! All the plants are going to look amazing this summer. More importantly they are going to attract lots of wildlife for everyone to enjoy!! The snow in the pond is still melting so the pond is gradually filling up. If you have some spare rain water in your water butts and feel like taking it down in a bucket that would be excellent. We are hoping to have a fun day sowing seeds with some of the youngsters from the Montessori Schools on Saturday 20th April but anyone is welcome to come down. The official opening event is going to be the Wivenhoe Open Gardens May 18th and 19th, when we will have lots of events for people to take part in. Watch this space for more details!!
