Wivenhoe Wildlife Garden

edited November 2013 in Wildlife Garden

Not sure how many of you know, but the Transition Town Wivenhoe group have been working with the council to create a wildlife garden.  They will be a group of people working there this Sunday 17th March and the following Sunday, with further dates to be anounced.  If anyone is interested in taking part please go down between 11am and 13:30pm.  There is work being done on creating a pond habitat as well as planting plants to attract pollinating insects.  Maybe you have some spare plants that you could donate that would attract moth, butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies so we will all have a place to go and watch these amazing animals!  If interested have a look at the TTW blog.  I look forward to seeing you all there soon!
